My favourite hat shop in London, CA4LA, had their first ever sample sale here in London and we started the day by going a bit mad with the hats. This day was one of those days where we went to quite a few places in one day. Surprisingly, it made me feel more alive. One of my new perspectives in life is to live - to really life life, and to not just be passing time. For now, to me, that means going through different experiences so as to get fresh perspectives that I can derive meaning from.
We checked out a gastropub, The Well, and we were enjoying one of those explore-London dinners. Then suddenly Superman appeared at the bar counter ordering a beer. The bartender proclaimed that Superman's beer was on the house just because his Superman outfit was awesome. Then we discovered there was a private party in the basement where grown-ups were all dressed in these superhero and cartoon outfits. Life's funny like that, you can really never assume what you're supposed to expect.
